Our managing principals, Katie Becker and Amy Bauer, have a deep inside knowledge and extensive long-standing relationships as a result of working directly in the industries they serve. Who We Are
Amy is responsible for developing and managing client relationships as well as senior, executive and board-level searches. 20+ years of experience in the healthcare and seniors housing industries along with a unique background that spans finance and operations to marketing and human resources, have provided Amy with a diverse, inside perspective. Amy began her career in senior living specializing in resident life at a continuing care retirement community. It was here that she developed a passion for the industry.
Amy was recruited to the corporate team and continued to advance holding positions in organizational development, operations and investor relations. Amy’s path lead her to a correspondent banking role with a healthcare lender and a principal role with a national executive search firm. Amy brings that dedication and in-depth knowledge of the industry to each search. She works closely with her clients to understand the culture and position requirements in order to find difference-making talent.
Katie is responsible for developing and managing client relationships, and senior to executive/board-level search. Katie has more than 20 years of hands-on national recruiting experience, with the past 18 years focused solely in the commercial real estate industry. She approaches every search and project with a sense of urgency and focuses on the client’s strategic goals and plans.
Katie has held executive-level staffing positions within the commercial real estate industry, and has a firsthand understanding of the impact that high-quality hires have within an organization. She has designed, implemented, and managed two successful corporate recruiting programs. The larger of the two companies was comprised of 35 recruiters, and was responsible for over 3,700 hires annually. Additionally, Katie is experience in the exclusive representation of commission brokers and teams.Katie has been a member of the Society for Human Resources (SHRM) since 2001, and is active with several real estate associations.
